Team Coaching

 

Team Coaching combines coaching, facilitation and, if appropriate, skills learning designed to help a group of smart, capable individuals become a team that rocks.

Who should consider Insight Team Coaching?

  • Any organizational team whose members think they should experience consistently higher impact, stronger cohesion, better collaboration, greater creativity, and/or deeper trust than they are currently.
  • Teams experiencing low commitment and accountability.
  • Teams experiencing high conflict and low productivity/creativity/impact.
  • Teams experiencing low conflict and low productivity/creativity/impact.
  • Teams with extraordinarily challenging goals that need an extra edge.

Team Coaching is in many ways like individual coaching. The coach works primarily with the entire together in learning how to learn and develop the ways of being together and interacting that will best support the team in achieving its goals. The coach may also work with the team leader and/or individual team members from time to time if it is useful.

The coach’s work with the team may include support in learning new skills for more effective communication, helping the team members craft useful agreements with each, supporting team members in learning to have difficult conversations effectively when necessary, trust building, recovering from damaged trust, and facilitating processes such as developing or recommitting to team vision, mission, values, and/or desired outcomes.
